In this video, I raise a fundamental question:
Should the Home Minister of a state be a 7th-pass politician?
Samrat Choudhary becoming the Home Minister is not the issue —
the issue is whether someone handling the state’s law & order should at least have intellectual depth and democratic maturity.
I argue that India needs learned, wise and competent people in the legislature, especially in the Upper House, so that democracy becomes stronger, not weaker.
I also discuss my ideological differences with Prashant Kishor — especially on labeling an accused as guilty.
In democracy, no one is guilty until the court proves it.
If the court convicts Samrat Choudhary, he will fall politically on his own — no media trial needed.
This video advocates the idea of sending true scholars and public intellectuals to the Rajya Sabha, such as:
Kumar Vishwas
KC Sinha
RK Singh
Vikas Divyakirti
Because a democracy survives not by slogans, but by wisdom in the legislature.
Is Bihar moving towards intellectual strength or political theatrics?
